When I knew I had to make this web page for my final assignment for my BuddingHTMLGurus class I thought long and hard about what the subject would be. Initially I was going to base it on my family and my dogs but the kids would never forgive me and probably keel over in embarassment LOL and I have made pages about my Golden Retrievers in the past. So I decided to make my pages about the area I live, North West Tasmania.

I have lived in Tasmania since moving from Western Australia in 1989. Originally I am from the UK and migrated to Australia in 1974. Tasmania is a place that grows on you and gets in your blood, it is such a diverse and beautiful place. Everything is unique - the animals, plants and landscape - very different from mainland Australia. The people are genuine, helpful and friendly, which you don't find very often nowdays.
