200 Series

What happens after completion of BKP 110 ?

There is a piece of courseware called "BKPtest-en" (this is the English version) that is ordered for all students ready to complete the Basic Kinesiology Practice series. Note that students must have been marked "Competent" for BKP110 before the test can be ordered (which is free).

College mark for the end-of-series test is for a full balance by the student on the teacher (or a very experienced Kinesiologist that the College is prepared to stake its reputation on) using the BKP109 protocol. It is an "open-book" balance, as at this stage of the Diploma, the students are not expected to have all the skills at instant recall.

The following elements need to be assessed:

    ability to muscle-test well (7/10)

ability to use the ICPKP balancing protocol -as from BKP109 (7/10)

ability to take a history (7/10)

any theory that the College feels strongly about

As with other ICPKP assessments, the final grade for Competency is 70% or greater.

The on-line test is 100 multi-choice questions that the computer will randomly draw from BKP101 - BKP110. As it will take the students more than an hour to complete, they can do it in more than one sitting (the computer is smart enough to remember where they are up to and start back in at that point).

After both pieces of assessment are complete, students will be issued with their Certificates of Proficiency in Basic Kinesiology Practice.

Celebrate!!

Then we move on to the 200 series...[more]
