One of Australia's "All Time Greats"

Higgins had a phenomenal show career, both here and in the UK.

In the UK he won 9 CCs including BOB at Crufts 1988 and in addition gained his show gundog working certificate.
In Australia, Higgins was the winner of  3 Ch Specialty  BIS & 4 Royal BIG & 2 Royal RUBIG.He was  RUBIS at Adelaide Royal and Canberra Royal.Check out the "Royal Gallery" for photos!!

In 1992 he was judged "Dalwood Dog of the Year"  and was also Runner Up NSW Dog of the Year on another occasion!
Higgins has sired many winning puppies and is behind many top  winners all over the world. He is also in the pedigree of a a great many Springers in Australia, owned by some very varied kennels.....

His personality lives on at Alhambra in his two sons Oscar Wilde and Oliver Reed, who have inheirited his sense of comedy and talent for retrieving!
